Receptionist
The Receptionist coordinates and manages the initial greeting of clients, incoming phone calls, and the appointment log. They pass out completed returns and make client packets. The Receptionist should also handle other clerical duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor or Franchisee/General Manager. These duties may include, but are not limited to: ordering and organizing office supplies, processing client mailings, and making coffee for the waiting area.

Duties
• greets clients in office and determines their service needs • distributes checks • answers incoming phone calls • coordinates client flow and inquiries; schedules appointments for clients on the phone and in person • prepares customer service packets and has clients begin appropriate paperwork before their interview; maintains an ample supply of pre-made packets • calls prior clients to schedule appointments • maintains the return filing cabinet and handles return pickups • maintains office appearance • assists in preparation of courier pouches and receives, organizes and files incoming material • handles client complaints professionally and refers clients to the individual who can assist them • performs most office administrative requirements
Tax Preparer
The Tax Preparer conducts an in-depth interview with the client and obtains all information and material required for tax return preparation. They fully communicate to clients the procedures, paperwork, and timeframes applicable to the service being provided. The Tax Preparer accurately prepares all paperwork and completes all required data entry according to office policy and procedure.

Duties
• provides first-rate customer service by striving to make every client a raving fan • conducts a thorough client interview • thoroughly explains the appropriate procedure and flow of the client's chosen service and the benefits of each service offered • accurately inputs all client information into the tax prep computer • correctly completes all applicable paperwork for client's chosen service • answers and researches all tax questions to completion • increases tax knowledge: completes all 18 practice problems and any intermediate tax course assignments in a timely manner • successfully completes Bronze Level Tax Preparer Certification and passes the Ethics test • fulfills all office administrative requirements including clearing out returns on hold and fixing IRS rejections • acts as the Receptionist when one is not scheduled
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager plans and implements marketing and public relations programs to increase name brand awareness and grow the business.

Office Supervisor
The Office Supervisor acts as an assistant to the Owner or General Manager. This person is available at a location to handle client complaints and be an information source for tax or technical questions. The Office Supervisor is ultimately responsible for daily reports to the Franchisee or General Manager.
