Municipal Engineer

Private Consultant is Seeking a Professional Engineer with experience and desire to continue to grow in a career opportunity in water/waste water/civil infrastructure work. This position will involve master planning and designing a variety of water, sewer, and storm system related projects.

Projects will include chlorination, infrastructure, water systems, transport (piping, wells, tanks, storage facilities, pump stations), transportation/hydraulics and other city related engineering tasks and projects. You could also be responsible for working with feasibility studies, water analysis and storm water permitting. You will be involved in working with senior management to coordinate project work and meet design deadlines.

Qualifications:

BS in Civil Engineering
5-10 years practical experience
PE preferred
Working experience with design and relative software packages; AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD, Pond Pack, HEC, Microstation/InRoads

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications
Desire to expand knowledge and skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication.
Problem solving abilities
