Loan Processor - Advanced - Full-time / Part-time

- These positions are in the Commercial Banking Wholesale Operations department

- Open because the team's loan system migration project has ramped up and they anticipate a lot of business growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Loan Processor - Advanced
- Loan system migration - going from current loan system to new loan system (LoanIQ). These individuals will be reviewing reports, comparing data, making sure whatever is reporting in the current loan system is reporting the same in the new system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Will work off of reports to work with treasury partners to pre-call our loans or clean up loan system, whether it be renewing past due items, double verifying wires, double verifying results match, verifying that the records in the current loan system match the records in the new loan system, etc. There will be a lot of excel functions required for the role. The majority of their work will be based on research in excel and doing comparison reports.

- Excel: Must know basic formulas, pivot tables, spread sheets will be provided but they will need to know how to filter and review data.
- Will uses LoanIQ (new loan system)- If they have AFS or ACBS or VLS loan system experience that is fine too.
- Could be processing a couple dozen transactions a day up to 80-90 transactions a day - it will depend on the business.
- Transactions: They will be depositing funds, making a payment, doing a rate change, working with wire transfers, booking loans, processing payments and Libor rate updates, loan accrual knowledge.
- Will be processing basic transactions for individuals working on the more challenging transactions of the project

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Looking for individuals with commercial loan experience (booking loans, processing payments and Libor rate updates, loan accrual knowledge, depositing funds, making a payment, doing a rate change, working with wire transfers, etc.), general data entry skills and computer navigation skills, multitasking skills and good understanding of excel and MS products.
- Ideally wants people that have commercial loan experience but anyone that has experience within operations in general would work - not interested in retail loan experience.
- Looking for loan operations, loan currency, back office role where the individual wasn't client facing - has experience processing transaction on behalf of client or on behalf of firm.
- Someone data oriented, has experience processing deposits and payments.
- Looking for someone with LoanIQ experience

MUST HAVES:
- Must be extremely strong in reporting in Excel - will be reviewing data and reporting.
- Need to have a basic understanding of how loans works - (accrual schedules, booking loans, processing payments and Libor rate updates, loan accrual knowledge)

PLUS HAVES:
- Degree plus but not required
- LoanIQ experience plus but not required - if they have AFS or ACBS or VLS loan system experience that is fine too.
- Experience working with wire transfers. (Someone that understands the wire transfer of money moving process- understands due diligence and what to look for when transferring funds.
