Automotive Technician/Entry Level Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Description

• Lube Technician needs to be reliable on attendance and ability to follow and take direction.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Will be working in a auto shop changing oil on vehicles, pulling and installing car batteries, and rotating tires and inspecting fluids and over all vehicle condition.
• Will need to have a standard set of tools $50.00 or more worth, (Socket set and impact wrenches).
• Will be working a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am to 4pm.
• Able to drive a manual transmission is a plus.
• Must have a motor vehicle record (MVR), nothing above 7 points.
• There will be random task around the shop as well such as cleaning and organizing the individual must be willing to follow orders and be responsible.

Environment

• The work environment is a large auto shop where auction cars are brought in for repairs.
• There are loud noises from tools and Safety glasses must be worn.
• Must have Safety Glasses.
• First day on the job candidate needs to have his safety glasses and tools (Socket Set/Impact Sockets).
• Also on their first day they need to know how to change oil, rotate tires, and change out batteries.
• Great place for an entry level mechanic looking to get plenty of exposure to automotive repairs and work their way up to a higher level mechanic.
