Billings and Deductions Representative (Contract) - Full-time / Part-time

A top food distributor in the nation is currently seeking multiple Billings and Deductions Representatives for their Accounts Receivable department. The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated, excited to learn and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities will include reviewing/auditing invoices on assigned accounts, coding vouchers and ensuring timely/accurate payments to maximize cash discounts for clients. You will be working in a high volume, fast paced environment. For each payment, there could be 50 or more deductions so you will be utilizing multiple spreadsheets and gathering pertinent account information.

Must Haves

• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• 1 year of Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Invoicing and Data Entry skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of accounting, reconciliations and accounts payable functions
• Additional training in bookkeeping concepts and procedures preferred

Pay will be based on experience ($14-16 an hour)
