Welder

This is a 1st shift position 7am-3:30pm

This is a MIG fabrication position. This person will be primarily MIG welding or repairing metal. It will be required to follow blueprints, layouts or engineering drawings to fabricate parts. This person will have to use jigs and fixtures that sometimes have to be altered but most of them are premade. Part inspection will be necessary of their work just to insure it meets specs and is up to quality standard which varies per part. There will be some operation of hoists and forklifts to move steel throughout the shop. This will be individual welding but in a team setting. Because it is a full fabrication position, this person will also need to be familiar with torches, torch tips, filler rods, flux, hoses, valves, gas cylinders etc.
