This company was founded in 1979 as a family owned machine shop, with a mere 5,000 square feet of machining space and a handful of customers to their name. Through their continued commitment to quality and customer service they have expanded their current location multiple times to the current 100,000 square foot facility.

The extrusion machine operator is responsible for operating and adjusting a variety of machines including multislide, fourslide, and vertical forming machines to perform close tolerance work requiring a high of skill. Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions.

T hey would like someone with previous experience and the following are the duties for the extrusion operator position:

         Operates and adjusts extrusion machine to form, bend, and punch a variety of work.

         Works from drawings, specifications, patterns, and templates.

         Uses calipers, micrometers, comparators, and other measuring equipment.

         Sorting and packaging of parts.

         Verifying quantity and quality of material. 

 

The skills and qualifications in which you would need for the extrusion operator position are:

         Requires 6 - 12 months of related manufacturing experience.

         Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

         Basic blueprint reading skills.

         Strong attention to detail.

The pay for the extrusion operator position is starting at $14/hr and goes up based on experience. The shift is Monday Thursday 3:30pm - 1:30am, Overtime as needed on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
