Temp to hire Administrative Coordinator position in Poway
Electronics Recycling Company in Poway is seeking a full time experienced Administrative Coordinator to perform a full range of administrative assignments which provide services to office and production systems, procedures, policies, and projects.

Essential Functions


Greet clients/visitors, answer/screen/direct telephone calls, and perform General Front Office administrative tasks for the organization.


Support/Maintain/Improve Production Operations by collecting/analyzing internal information and updating electronic documents and databases.


Support/Maintain/Improve Compliance/EHS Systems by collecting/analyzing internal information and updating electronic documents and databases.


Support/Maintain/Improve Office Communications by collecting/processing internal/external information and updating electronic documents and databases.


Support HR Operations by assisting with new hire starts and worker training.


Support/Maintain/Improve Purchasing through processing of Purchase Orders for both office and production operations


Provide occasional backup support for Sales/Marketing Administration.


Provide occasional back up support for dispatch and invoicing process.


Support and/or organize company sponsored internal/external events and activities.


Assist with any business projects as needed.


Assure confidential handling of all company information including staff/business records

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum High School diploma/ GED. AA or higher degree preferred or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage workflow, work to moving timelines, meet deadlines, and keep managers apprised of progress on time sensitive activities.
  • Ability to understand/analyze/update data in numerical and graph form (spreadsheets and formulas) and make improvements to reports. Strong Excel skills desired.
  • Medium Level Data entry skills (Typing and 10 Key).
  • Medium Level Math skills (add/subtract/divide/multiply/average/delta/decimals)
  • Strong English language skills both written and spoken. Bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful but not required.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Strong Customer Service attitude and skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Share Point.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent attendance and punctuality.
