Retail Sales Associate (Store 495)

Lori's Hospital  Gift Shop  in Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk is seeking an energetic, fun  Sales Associate to join our team.    Must have great people skills!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must pass a background check. [free of charge]

1 year of retail or customer service experience..

• Mandatory work schedule: Weekends, Mornings, Nights and Holiday's
• Outgoing personality to develop a good relationship with customers
• Able to bend and lift up to 30 lbs for housekeeping and stocking duties
• Capable of standing for up to 5 hours during work shift
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detail

SCHEDULES:

Sunday: 9:45AM-2:45PM

Monday: 10:00AM-3:00PM

Tuesday: 3:15PM-8:15PM

Friday: 10:00AM-3:00PM

Saturday: 2:15PM-7:15PM

MUST be available weekends and HOLIDAYS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist customers in the gift shop  and make room deliveries
• Assist with merchandise ordering
• Participate in store contests.
• Become familiar and knowledgeable of products and services provided in the shop.
• Stock  and clean  the gift shop
• Create store displays and gift baskets
• Assist Customers by operating store cash register
• Practice  Customer F.I.R.S.T.  customer service
