As a Billing/Revenue Qualification Representative in our Pharmacy Billing Department, you will be responsible for providing daily operational support for an assigned Revenue Cycle team to meet performance goals and enhance process efficiencies. You will be a part of a team of Billing/RQ representatives that are focused on achieving operational efficiencies & ensuring compliance with established laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

In addition, the Billing/RQ Representative will:

Support our billing/RQ processes for facility and private pay customers in DX or Oasis.
Support collection and reimbursement strategies and initiatives to improve operations and results.
Suggest changes to department policies and procedures as appropriate
Drive for productivity goals, push for daily progress and achievement, and recommend measures for improvement.
Learn all billing systems and accurately respond to questions regarding client invoicing and adjustments while ensuring compliance.
Engage in training for new employees and provide ongoing training as needed
Provide timely feedback to mgmt
Support reporting that addresses billing variances, denials and payment discrepancies on a timely basis.

Billing Specialist I will be responsible for qualifying, preparing and submitting claims to Medicare Part B, Major Medical and Medicaid. Individual must work with LTC facility staff, pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third party payers, patients and/or their responsible parties and claim processors. This position requires work within several different operating systems and web based programs to retrieve document images, collect supporting or additional information on fills and work claims through to resolution to ensure compliant, timely and accurate billing practices.
