About this job
Under the direction of the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for minor repairs, maintenance, and parts replacement of vehicles and cleaning equipment.
Requirements:

- Repair and maintain trucks and vans including exhaust systems, brakes, front ends, water pumps, fuel pumps, electrical system, and some engine work.
- Perform oil changes, transmission and all other fluid changes.
- Inspect and change tires when needed.
- Repair and maintain all equipment including electrical systems, water pumps, vacuums, compressors and engine repair.
- Order tools, parts, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment, components, and other parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Tend and observe equipment and vehicles to verify efficient and safe operation.
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance log.
- Track when maintenance and repairs are needed for vehicles and equipment.
- Keep working area clean, safe, and in orderly condition.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified brake mechanic
- 2 years fleet and mechanical experience
