JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience analyzing, designing and coding large scale Java/J2EE internet and Cloud-based applications, or, alternatively Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience analyzing, designing and coding large scale Java/J2EE internet and Cloud-based applications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Candidate must also possess:
* Demonstrated Expertise ('DE') in object-oriented design and Java/J2EE RESTful micro services development within high performance and highly available multithreaded RHEL environments using: Object Oriented design patterns, Spring framework, server (JBoss, Tomcat), JSON, and IDEs (Eclipse).
* DE developing job automation and e-commerce data processing using Jenkins, Big Data, Hadoop, Pig, shell scripts, Hive and SOLR queries, and NoSQL databases Mongo DB and Cassandra for production transactions (OLTP), and providing analytics support (OLAP) within high transaction volume environments.
* DE partnering with product teams to identify customer experience opportunities and solutions to improve checkout conversions, and maximize average order value for online retail business.
* DE conducting online retail application performance management, and leading performance readiness process to prepare E-Commerce transactional platform to support peak traffic and mobile and desktop traffic during holiday seasons and ensuring uninterrupted system availability.

- Write unit and integration tests for deliverables exercising code and preventing bugs.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of department processes, procedures, policies and standards.
- Interface with all levels of management to negotiate and influence development activities and initiatives.
- Resolve complex development, coding and implementation issues.
