Community Outreach Representative (Great Part Time Job for Students!)

We are a local lawn care company in the Treasure Valley area, and have worked with over 600 students over the last 14 years with our marketing teams.  We have a position in our customer outreach team available.  It’s a great position for a student (or anyone who wants a great part time opportunity).  It is a marketing position, where we visit local neighborhoods in teams offering free lawn care quotes.  

The schedule works great with school.  The hours are Monday through Thursday 430 to 830 and Saturday 930 to 130.  We have representatives making anywhere from $8 to $14 an hour.  It is a great opportunity to learn communication skills, sales skills, networking, negotiating, etc.  Just being confident in oneself to talk to people and overcome objections.  We also offer scholarship opportunities to our marketing staff at the end of the season.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Offer free, no obligation quotes to homeowners in the greater Treasure Valley area.
• Meet performance standards in the field, including professional appearance and dress code
• Responsibly use android tablets with GPS tracking
• Provide accurate homeowner information on quotes
• Always courteous and polite

Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age for solicitor licensing purposes
• Available: Monday – Thursday from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
• Excellent communication skills
• Outgoing, efficient, and enthusiastic personality who is team oriented and willing to work hard
• Ability to walk outside 3-4 hours at a time, in ALL weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing
• Valid State issued ID (Driver’s License or State ID card) for solicitor licensing purposes
• No driving necessary, however your own transportation to our office is required

Pay: Our Customer Outreach Representatives receive a base salary of $8 per hour plus lead commissions. You can earn up to $14+ per hour or more by achieving certain goals. We also hold occasional contests that can help you earn additional cash or prizes.

Schedule: Position available from Late January to June. Hours are Monday – Thursday from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
