*Entry Level* Microbiologist - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is hiring an Entry Level Microbiologist near the Knoxville, TN area!

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in microbiology, biochem, or related field

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as needed

- Experience with aseptic techniques

- Experience in quantitative plating

- Food analysis experience preferred

Job Duties:

- Media prep/sterilization

- Utilize aseptic technique during sample prep

- Process initial procedures in both quantitative and qualitative analysis

- Maintenance and daily verification of lab instrumentation

- Maintain storage of samples
