Inpatient Medical Coder

Inpatient Coder (2 month contract)
-receive a schedule of patients to review documents (the physician has already billed for it)
-agree or disagree with the documents, if disagree make the appropriate changes
-documents/schedule will be given by patient in alphabetical form
-they will be dealing with all services and providers/departments

Qualifications:

-coding experience
-certified (certifications listed below)
-ICD-10

Licensures/Certifications that will be accepted:
-Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
-Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCSP)
-Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)
-Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
-Certified Coding Associate (CCA) through American Health Information Management Certification (AHIMA)
-Associates degree in HIM with RHIT certification
