Now Hiring - Plum Market Food Service Prep Cook / Dishwasher- Lear Corporate Cafeteria, Southfield MI, 48033 The Prep Cook / Dishwasher is responsible for all the salad bar production. They are responsible for providing exceptional guest service. They must adhere to Plum Market's quality expectations in regards to food preparation, cleanliness and overall presentation of the culinary department. They are also directly responsible for washing and cleaning of all tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment, floors, walls coolers, ceilings, etc. They are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized at all times and are also expected to receive, rotate and stock deliveries. This position offers Medical, Dental, and Optical Benefits. Monday thru Friday scheduling with most major Holidays and weekends off. Qualifications: Must have a love of natural, organic, and specialty food. Ability to provide exceptional guest service. Must have 2 years of experience in the food industry. Ability to prepare food to Plum Market's recipes, specifications, and procedures. Must have basic knife skills and understand basic sanitation. Must be self-motivated. Ability to keep the entire workplace clean and in excellent working condition. Must be able to receive deliveries and properly rotate product. Ability to fulfill several orders at once to serve guest quickly and efficiently. ServSafe certified or Food Handlers license preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
