Facilities Performance Specialist Engineering & Energy unit, Facilities ManagementPosition # 101656 University of MarylandUnder general supervision, the Facilities Performance Specialist is a key contributor to the University's effort to improve occupant comfort and reduce energy use at campus buildings.
The Specialist is responsible for installing, programming, calibrating and commissioning meters and readers to measure campus energy in campus buildings.
The Specialist works to improve the performance of HVAC, Lighting and Building Automation equipment in buildings.
Additionally, the Specialist provides and directs assistance to various groups within Facilities Management and works closely with other groups in the unit.
