Overview
The Director - Infrastructure Programs is a technology leader responsible for implementations and results from large technology programs. This role is also responsible for the build of future solutions and platforms to provide for agile and hybrid infrastructure for the enterprise, digital and restaurants program to support the on-going Wendy's company transformation efforts. This position will initially leads and manage the enterprise-wide program to implement payment, technology and will then assume responsibility for the successful management and implementation of ongoing infrastructure and IT services programs. This role will lead a team of infrastructure managers, engineers and cross functional project resources to design, implement and provision effective operational run processes supporting Wendy's Infrastructure, including where they are deployed across public and private clouds. This role in supervising various programs will work closely with other technology domains and business leaders and teams
Specific Responsibilities Include
- Program management of large scale complex technology programs leading cross functional teams to ensure business results and anticipated value for the Wendy's system.
- Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities and functionality, managing vendor partners and project resources to established budget.
- Leads in development of processes for governance of programs or services and managing the program risks and issues, service SLA's and communications with all stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and activities while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Effective demand planning and resource management to plan and forecast the needs of various projects with direct and matrix resources.
- Delivery of high quality solutions with effective collaboration with business stakeholders, other technology teams of architecture, engineering, QA, security, deployments and operations etc. supporting 99.99% service availability and high performance to meet the needs of business.
- Maintain and present program updates, with dashboards and communication to IT & Business leadership, WTAC, CIO & Architecture forum and other relevant stakeholders..
This position will be based at The Wendy's Company headquarters in Dublin, a suburb of Columbus, OH. The Wendy's Company is the world's second largest quick-service hamburger company. Education / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree in Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Over 15 years of technology experience with more than 5 years' experience in a Director or Infrastructure Program Management role leading large technology programs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences including technologists, executives, business stakeholders, vendor partners and IT team members.
- 3 years' experience supporting business services running in the public cloud. Experience with the contracts supporting IaaS, PaaS and SaaS delivery models.
- Extensive knowledge of Technology and Infrastructure technologies - Private and Public Cloud, Networking, Storage, data center and store infrastructure, virtualization and containerization, security with PCI and PII, Data center infrastructure, monitoring tools, Automation and config management tools, IOT, Service management tools preferably Cherwell.
