Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Becoming a CAREGiver offers many rewards and nutures your soul.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. 

We have immediate openings for day, and over night shifts during the week and weekends. Our office, covers and serves the east end of Louisville and Oldham County.  Controlled service area that won't send you all over metro Louisville.

Duties include

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Requirements as a CAREGiver

• Experience treating and/or and care for seniors with dignity and respect
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 pounds; perform activities that require walking, kneeling, bending, and physically assisting another adult.
• 19 years of age or older
