Job Responsibilities

The primary function of a Customer Service Advisor is to provide an excellent experience for our guests and to guide them through the Jiffy Lube Signature Service.  They are in charge of working directly with customers to communicate vehicle service recommendations and educating them about their vehicles maintenance requirements.  Some of the key duties of this position will include:

 

  • Greeting customers as they arrive at the location.
  • Completing service reviews with guests which will include capturing or verifying the customer’s information, and reviewing the products, services, and promotions being offered as well as making sure they are aware of their manufacturer recommendations.
  • Performing proper ring-out procedures including providing estimates when needed.
  • Ensuring that the service center is clean and presentable.

Requirements

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Age 21 or older
Ability to speak, read, and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
Can complete the required computer based training (CBT) modules.
Attendance is an essential function of employment and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts.

 

Physical Requirements
This position will require the employee to regularly service cars. Thus, while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
Use of hands, and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms.
Able to climb stairs.
Able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and transfer from one height to another.
Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Able to communicate clearly.
