Loan Processor

Position: Loan Processor
Location: West Des Moines, IA 50266
Pay: $16-$17
Shift: 8AM-6PM (8-hour shift between)
Job Description:

• Responsible for ordering loan disbursements and payoffs.
• Functions include: assisting in monitoring loan draw requests; processing loan disbursements, payoffs and demands; completing disbursement audits; providing rate quotes; preparing loan reconciliations; researching and compiling data for management reports; performing modifications and renewals.
• Within the commercial business is responsible for complex payment processing, ground rents, cash managed loans, and complex tax transactions.
• May provide work direction and training to other loan servicing team members.
• The team would be responsible for the creation of documents associated with the loan modification process (modification agreement, note, security instrument).
• Documents must adhere to state and regulatory requirements as outlined in our procedures and checklists.
• Individuals would need to pay close attention to detail, looking within the system of record and other automation tools to ensure all processing steps are completed per guidelines.
• Modification documents would then either be printed, prepped for signature and mailed directly to the customer or the team member would contract with our 3rd party vendor (through their tool) to schedule an appointment with the customer for signature and notarization.
• Once returned, the documents are reviewed for accuracy and completeness, imaged or sent for recording.

Qualifications:

• MINIMUM High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of customer service experience, loan administration, collections, or sales environment.
• Preferred qualifications: experience with processing, auditing, mortgage, QA.
