Job Description:
- Forklift drivers
- Forklift drivers will operate a gas and electric Hyster forklift to move crates around the warehouse or off the production line
- Will work in 3 different departments; wash line, storage (probox production), stack and store
- Forklift drivers will move 50 to 200 boxes per shift
- When boxes are empty can stack them as high as 9 boxes high. When full stack 4-5 boxes high
- Will also load, unload, stage boxes to be picked up
- Use of scanners to track and trace inventory of materials of product. Also track where product is staged in the warehouse
- Use of SAP computer program to perform look ups of materials
- Candidates will also perform various other production technician duties such as; machine operation, clean up, stacking lids and bins etc.
- Candidates should expect to spend 30-60% of their day on the forklift. The rest they will fill in as needed on various production lines
- Lifting up to 65lbs
Work Environment:
- 1st shift 6a to 230p: Monday - Friday
- 2nd shift 2p to 1030p: Monday - Friday
- 3rd shift 10p to 630a: Sunday - Thursday
- Seasonal positions September - April/May
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+yrs of forklift exp.
- Must be able to lift up to 65lbs
- Must have experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting
- Must have basic computer experience using of Microsoft word or excel. Will perform basic data entry
Performance Expectations:
- Will be evaluated by how well they are able to keep up with production
- Will be evaluated by attendance, quality of work, can they keep up with production, can they follow verbal and written instructions
Additional Compensation:
- 1.5x after 40hrs
