Mortgage- Servicing Specialist

A leading company in the financial industry is looking to add a new member to their team. Looking for individuals who can start ASAP. Must have 3+ years within the mortgage industry, preferably with experience servicing loans, reviewing loan documents or processing loans.

Job Description:
* Commercial Loan Fulfillment and/or Servicing Processor will work directly on client accounts across Small Business, Business Banking, Middle Market/Commercial and GWIM lines of business for loan booking/setup and transaction processing.
* Duties include:
o Client setup
o Facility/loan setup
o Collateral setup/booking
o Transaction Processing (rates, payments, advances, notices)
o Research and Inquiry
* Qualified applicants should have experience in loan processing, account processing and servicing. Commercial/wholesale lending preferred.
* Applicants should have the ability to clearly read, understand and interpret loan documents.
* Applicants should have a general knowledge of loan accounting/reconciliation of general ledger debits and credits, including research and clearing exceptions on processed transactions.
* Applicants must be able to research and resolve differences on various systems (i.e. interest discrepancies, DDA, wire transfer discrepancies, etc.).
* Applicants must be proficient in data entry from a variety of sources, paper-based and/or electronic, into the loan system of record.

People that come from a Loan Doc Specialist/Loan Doc Review background, specifically in the commercial lending space, will be a fit as well since this job will be predominantly revolving around internal communication!
