Application Engineer

DIRECT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN APPLICATION ENGINEER

Looking for an Applications Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity. The position will require working directly with customers identifying solutions to maintenance and overhaul challenges utilizing Perfect Point's unique equipment. Customers include OEMs, MROs - both military and commercial, direct military maintenance, and direct commercial carriers.

DUTIES:
Support the sales team and customers with application expertise, set up systems and train at customer sites,
Advise customers and work though engineering solutions with team to deliver quality support.
Position will require extensive travel within the U.S., with occasional travel to support customers in other countries.
Support engineering team in research and development of new products and solutions based on Customer inputs.
Support both contract and internally funded R&D projects

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE - Engineering degree and/or 5+ years aerospace structures experience
MUST HAVE - knowledge and exposure to aerospace manufacturing, overhaul & maintenance, and/or aerospace structures (wings, body, tail, etc)
MUST HAVE - ability and willingness to be "hands on", sample product on maintenance work
MUST HAVE - willingness for heavy travel to customer sites

Additional Experience
- 2D and 3D CAD experieince
- Clear oral and written communications
- Ability to develop customer relationships
