Seeking an Immediate Technical Writer!
Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation to include user manuals, that contribute to the overall success of medical device products.
Will work collaboratively with quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make products easier to use.
Will work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
Write easy-to-understand concise materials with a heavy emphasis on technical and regulatory accuracy of content.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with document publishing tools
- Formal education or training in technical writing
- 3 or more years of experience professionally as a Technical Writer
- Desktop Publishing Skills
- Able to work with long documents containing several hundred pages
- Able to create and manipulate tables, tables of contents, and indexes
- Know how to set and adjust page layouts
- Know how to create cross-references, captions, footnotes, and endnotes
- Know how to insert and manipulate graphics
- Microsoft Word 2010, or later: skill level 5
- Adobe FrameMaker 2015, or later: skill level 4
- Adobe InDesign CS6, or later: skill level 4
- Able to create line drawings with Adobe Illustrator CS6, or later, and able to convert drawings created with SolidWorks into illustrations.
- Skill level for creating line drawings (1 to 5, with 5 being the highest): skill level 5
