Sweet Tomatoes is seeking a talented Facilities Manager to work with our restaurants in the Eastern United States in creating an atmosphere that provides the best dining experience possible.




This position requires that the individual reside in the state of Florida, preferably in the Orlando market

Job Title: East Coast Regional Facilities Manager

Department: Development & Facilities

Reports To: VP of Risk

Position Overview

Provide support to our restaurants in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Arizona and other assigned states by maintaining them in a nearly new condition at all times. Support the Restaurant Management Team in all activities related to the proper maintenance and care of our facilities. The Regional Facilities Manager may also manage and supervise remodel activities, design upgrades, efficiency programs, company wide initiatives and general participation in all aspects of maintaining a first class facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Conducts routine inspections/assessments of assigned region, striving towards excellent condition levels for each facility and provide safe environment for our guest and staff.


  • Research, hire, and develop vendors to make proper repairs per company standards.


  • Able to prepare scopes of work for vendors and review bids, ensuring vendors are using correct materials and adhering to company standards.


  • Manage, monitor and verify Comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program.


  • Oversee large capital expenditure projects and equipment change outs.


  • Assist and support Operations with the management of their Corrective Maintenance spending


  • Routine assessments of all mechanical equipment, cooking equipment, water systems, etc.


  • Provide support towards a pest free environment.


  • Act as liaison between landlord, tenants and restaurant operations keeping positive relationships and resolving issues that arise.


  • Respond to all emergency situations and fully coordinate all work needed to resolve the emergency.


  • Provide status reports to VP of Risk for review with team during weekly staff meetings.


  • Handle disputes between restaurant management and service vendors to expedite unresolved repairs, preventative maintenance, invoicing etc.


  • Assist in all facilities related Store Manager training initiatives.


Qualifications


  • Strong understanding of general construction trades, including HVAC, roofing, hot side equipment, and plumbing.


  • Significant expertise and experience with Refrigeration systems.


  • Must have minimum of 5-years’ experience in Facilities management.


  • Able to communicate effectively with all types of individuals and management. Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.


  • Able to plan, expedite, and follow-up on all types and size projects.


  • Proficient in general computer usage.


  • Minimum 2 years experience with a Work Order Management platform, such as Service Channel.


  • Restaurant experience a definite plus.


  • Desire a strong background in a major construction trade.


  • Up to 50% Travel required.


  • On call for emergencies at all times
