Hiring immediately!!! Aerotek Energy is currently seeking an entry level Core Analyst for a large nation wide company.
The primary responsibility of the Core Analyst will be to sample and analyze core from oil and gas reservoirs. Candidates will be traveling across the country to retrieve core and will be bringing them back to the laboratory in Denver.
Responsibilities:
- Candidates will be traveling from well site to well site
- Collect core from well sites and taking back to the lab
- Assist senior laboratory personnel in setting up test in the lab
- Perform routine tests in the lab
- ***This is a very labor and travel intensive position***
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Geology is preferred, no masters degrees!!!
- 0-1 year experience working in the field
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at all hours of the day.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
