POSITION PURPOSE

The Manager of Digital Channels – Portal & Subsites will assist the Senior Manager of Digital Channels with ensuring content management standards, improving information architecture, optimizing search, administering systems and reporting on user interactions within various associate-facing sites, including the Company intranet and online newsletters.  The Manager of Digital Channels – Portal & Subsites collaborates with business partners and IT to deliver tailored content experiences that meet the needs of our 400K associates while ensuring site consistency. The incumbent will also be responsible for leading the charge in visual exploration, keeping pace with industry standards, reviewing reporting to ensure content usage and assist with issue resolution to drive business improvement.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 50% Internal client engagement, information architecture and overall strategy development
  • 25% Content management, standards creation and enforcement
  • 15% Content and collateral creation, special projects, system administration
  • 10% Reporting and analytics





EDUCATION REQUIRED:  The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE – 4 years

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. 
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in a related field
  • Experience with intranets and web design strongly preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar content management platforms preferred
  • Experience in Google Analytics or Omniture
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript preferred
