Job Overview:

Perform all audits for the OMNI channel (Stores, Outlets, DC’s, FIL Centers, etc.) to provide Central and the stores a consistent and accurate viewpoint of the stores’/ facility’s status versus company standards. Work with store/ network management teams to develop an action plan to address deficiencies on the day of the audit. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Perform Shortage Control, Fine Jewelry, Receiving, Fulfillment, Legal and Cash Office Audits for all Bloomingdale’s Stores and OMNI Supply Chain, using the on-line audit system APIS.
• Present the results to the Store Senior Teams and provide in the moment guidance on how to correct findings, based upon established best practices and policy.
• Coordinate receipt of audit action plans from store management
• Publish audit report to store, Market/ Trade and senior management.
• Identify in store, Market/ Trade and company wide trends. Create reporting/ best practices to highlight opportunities and guide the company toward resolution and standardization.
Help lower Company shortage and improve consistency of store operations
• Understand company policies and procedures and be able to explain them to associates and executives, including the reasons why policies exist.
• Serve as a resource when visiting the store in terms of where to find best practices, manuals, policies and procedures.
• Work with National Shortage Controller to identify future “best practices” in stores, so that these can be rolled out to all stores if successful.
• Monitor Shortage Control pilot program progress
• Participate in seasonal action plan process by bringing to the table observations from store visits, insight from auditing process and assisting in the analysis and selection of store focus departments.
• Partner with stores and Central to help facilitate annual Inventory and reconciliation.
Audit Records
• Maintain APIS database
• Update APIS templates
• Recap audits on a quarterly basis at the market/trade and company level
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Prior retail experience required

Communication Skills:

• Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills

Reasoning Ability:

• Quick learning skills
• Strong attention to details.

Other Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Office Skills – Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, “IF” statements), Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and persuasive skills
• Strong organizational skills, effective time management allowing for multitasking

Work Hours:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
• Willingness to travel as 42% of the work days are away from home.
