About this job
This is a great temp to permanent, career-based, opportunity for a qualified, skilled laborer who is up to the challenge of creating fabrication and installation drawings; working with project planning and production staff to map out needs to develop solutions that meet customer’s expectations.
This job requires creating drawings for prototypes/mockups for presentations; understanding manufacturing fabrication processes / shop production; sketching concepts for brainstorming/presentations; participating in design /Engineering reviews; and, understanding current trends, materials, and innovations in the industry.
Our ideal candidate MUST possess:
- Associate Degree in Drafting/equivalent working experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working as a Detailer in the fabrication/construction industry;
- 3 or more year’s knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, Windows platform, etc. software;
- Working knowledge of metal fabrication
- Working knowledge of construction / installation processes
