About this job
As a key member of the management team, this position ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures while using analytical skills to assist the distribution center management team and area sales functional teams. The Business Manager will provide administrative, financial support services and analysis for the operational and sales teams. They will also ensure accurate and timely internal administration and adherence to proper accounting and reporting procedures.
• Direct responsibility for departmental expense budget, wage expenses for administrative staff, overtime, and all other related facility expenses.
• Responsible for monitoring and collaborating with management in the analysis of financial performance vs budget.
• Responsible for expense control, monitoring and assisting functional managers with monitoring financial performance of the operations.
• Leads hiring process for any administrative staff positions within distribution center.
• Handles performance management processes for direct reports.
• Trains and develops staff.
• Collaborates with distribution center and functional management teams.
• Participates in personal training and development opportunities.
• Participates in routine meetings.
• Assists in the annual operating budget for the distribution center and sales operations.
• Responsible for monitoring and collaborating with management in the analysis of monthly financial reports.
• Assists in preparing month-end accrual entry as necessary.
• Collaborates with distribution center and functional management to ensure the accuracy of labor.
• Assists in accounts receivable efforts including sales center charge backs, AR write offs, NSF.
• Lead the analysis and resolution of all driver cash and product over and shorts.
• Monitors pre-settlement and cashiering activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Assists in accounts payable efforts as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience required.
* 5+ years office experience with similar responsibilities required.
* People Management experience preferred.
* Finance or management background preferred.
* Proficient computer skills required.
