Our client, a well-established manufacturer in South Milwaukee, is currently seeking a Machinist on 2nd shift. While the position does not require any programming, this is not for entry-level machinists. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that offers great benefits and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include: -Set-up & operation of machining centers and turning centers -Program prove-outs and edits -Occasional operation of some manual machines -Perform quality inspections Minimum qualifications include: -3+ years of machining experience -Proficiency with editing CNC programs (conversational and/or G&M codes) -Proficient with quality tools such as calipers and micrometers -Capacity to understand and follow
