IT Production Application Analyst (Long-term Contract)

Production Application Support Analyst for .NET Stacked Application Environment.

Partner in a team environment or be able to independently perform any of the following functions:

•Responsible for deploying releases/maintenance activities and new applications into staging and production environments. In addition, identify impacts of changes to application and any upstream / downstream impacts.

•Automate any manual deployment tasks

•Respond to critical service availability outages and events.

•Interact with end users to gather troubleshooting data and resolve complex problems

•Monitor applications & systems through alerting tools to study trending, identify root causes, and maintain maximum uptime

•Extract and compile log data from multiple sources for reports and troubleshooting using Splunk

•Familiar with the .NET applications

•Will partner with application development team and/or Vendor in solving problems with new deployments or application functionality.

•Recognize service impacting problems and engage necessary contacts to resolve

•On call support and after hours deployment rotation

Qualifications:

•5+ years of .NET Application Support

•3+ years of Powershell Scripting

•3+ years of TFS Release Management

•1+ years of App Dynamics

•2+ years of Splunk

•1+ years of Microsoft Azure experience

•Runscope experience a plus

•Basic F5 experience a plus

•Software Development experience a plus

•Experience working in a DevOps capacity a plus
