The primary purpose of this role is to partner with internal and vendor stakeholders to design and implement logistics (inventory and vendor management) systems, processes, measures and controls for non-retail collateral. The role will deliver sustained improvement for critical collateral production processes to help the enterprise achieve strategic goals and impact financial results (typically 10% productivity targets or greater). This includes responsibility for end to end non-retail collateral inventory and vendor management. This role also drives the identification of productivity/efficiency efforts and the associated analytics and business performance metrics required for long term sustainability. This role is a key leader in the collateral production organization. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders (multiple internal merchandising operations partners, merchandising, enterprise strategic sourcing, IT, finance, accounting, and vendors) to reduce inventory holding and destruction costs.

This role is critical to Lowe's success because it drives the creation, implementation and management of initiatives, systems, processes, measures and controls for non-retail item inventory.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS:
• Provides project and subject matter leadership for a portfolio of large and small initiatives by facilitating and leading process improvement efforts, solving complex problems and escalating high priority issues or risks as appropriate to deliver results across collateral production.
• Creates, implements and maintains new analytics, tools and measures to improve collateral on time delivery (80% OTD, productivity (10%/yr) and reduce rework (10%/yr).
• Manages all collateral vendor scorecarding efforts which includes ongoing reporting and communication to vendor partners to hold them accountable for meeting service level agreements and targets.
• Develops the forecast for all non-retail item stock inventory ($5,000,000 avg/yr)
• Accountable for determining, maintaining and sharing velocity codes for 15,000 stock non retail item as well as making recommendations on any changes or destruction that needs to occur related to those items.
• Manages and controls inventory destruction budget ($1.5M/yr)
• Maintains an unbiased point of view on complex problems by providing a single version of the truth through rigorous data and root cause analysis.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• 5+ years work experience in inventory, logistics or analytics. Experience using/applying MS Access and MS Excel.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience leading projects, working cross-functionally and/or working closely with senior leadership (VP and above)
