Position Summary:

Develop and execute digital marketing channel strategy for email, customer facing websites, microsites, mobile app, push notifications, SMS and social platforms that aligns with the company's philosophy and business objectives, including personalization. Develop digital/social marketing campaigns and communication plans based on collaboration with Marketing, Loyalty, Merchandising, Suppliers, Digital Customer Team and dunnhumby. Ensure digital/social marketing campaigns/communications complement and are integrated with traditional marketing activities (broadcast, print, etc.) and support our brand. Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop marketing channel strategy for email, customer facing websites, microsites, mobile app, push notifications, SMS and social platforms, incorporating the appropriate use of broadcast, targeted and personalized content/communication through collaboration with Creative Services and Media Services teams
  • Develop communication/campaign plan to support merchandising and division objectives, and drive customer digital activation and engagement based on enhancements to shopping list, weekly circular, mobile app, website and digital coupons
  • In conjunction with the analytics team, create ongoing testing strategy (A/B and multivariate) to increase customer engagement and improve performance
  • Use data and insights for future strategies and campaigns and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Manage assigned outside vendors/agencies, as necessary, to assure alignment with vision and master brand strategy
  • Update digital and social media guidelines based on industry best practices, internal data, testing, business cases, etc., and ensure these are communicated throughout the organization
  • Oversee digital marketing budgets and report forecast and actuals to division partners, via Regional Marketing teams, to ensure financial accountability collaborating with Media Services and Finance teams
  • Champion new ideas to help keep pace with rapidly changing digital/social environment
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience in marketing with at least 3 years focused on digital marketing/social media/e-commerce
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing/social media channels (email, SMS/push notification, websites, microsites, social) including channel regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of individual work styles
  • Strong project leadership, organizational and time management skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems
  • Ability to create metrics and use data to drive decisions which enhance the customer experience
  • Ability to travel independently
Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business
  • 5 years marketing experience in fast-paced environment
  • 3 years digital marketing/social media/e-commerce experience with large retailer, multi-brand company or agency
  • Understanding of digital marketing production processes and campaign management experience
