Due to an internal promotion our client, who is in the non-profit industry, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their HR team. In this role one will mainly be responsible for full cycle recruiting and on-boarding of talent.

 

The ideal candidate will have a combination of formal education in human resources along with 1-3 years of high volume recruiting experience. Familiarity of the health care industry will be beneficial, but not required. Hours are full time, Monday through Friday for this contract-to-hire opportunity. Duties:

  • Screen, identify, and interview candidates within a timely turn-around period
  • Participates with new hire orientations
  • Conduct and monitor statuses of references, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation process
  • Manage communication between management and departments related to the hiring process, and collect metrics for reporting purposes
  • Write effective postings, participate with job fairs, and utilize social media to attract talent  

 

Requires:

  • Work experienced in recruiting, interviewing, counseling or as an HR Generalist
  • Solid understanding of HR regulations
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage time and prioritize work
  • Experienced working in Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfortable using the internet
  • Great Plains/Dynamics HRIS preferred, but will train
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university in Human Resources Management or a related field, or an Associate’s degree and/or Certificate in Human Resources with 3-5 years related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
