The Security Concierge is responsible for providing superior visitor management and a top of the line guest experience. We are looking for a friendly, professional team member who possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills, and has the ability to multitask and to elevate the visitor experience. By providing stellar visitor lobby oversight, the Security Concierge responsibilities include:
  • Greet, supervise and direct visitors to ensure service is of the highest standards – capable of representing Whelan as the premier provider of security services in the industry
  • Promptly answer phones, address inquiries, and deliver all messages to the appropriate individuals in a professional manner
  • General lobby oversight, maintaining an appropriate rapport with building visitors and guests
  • Standing and greeting employees, visitors and guests according to company standards
  • Maintaining ownership of the process of visitor management
  • Provide knowledgeable and comprehensive information about the surrounding areas
  • Promptly answer, record, and complete all visitor requests, questions, or concerns
  • Monitoring and securing the lobby
  • Enforcing safety procedures
  • Logging and announcing visitors
Qualifications

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • United States or Naturalized Citizen
  • At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • Demonstrate a stable work history
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
  • the ideal candidate will be able to effectively multitask
  • Easily and seamlessly provide superior customer service to multiple visitors at the same time
  • Proactive and organized and prompt
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with demanding clientele
  • Ability to effectively assess a situation, show good judgment, and resolve conflicts
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • 2- 3 years customer service experience – ideally in concierge field, visitor center management, administrative or retail experience required
Education

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Some College preferred
