Is Now Hiring for the following Open Positions: Mechanical Assemblers: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and assemble various segments of mechanical systems and top-level assemblies as well as lower-level components and sub-assemblies under the direction of the immediate supervisor. Prepare equipment for testing. Interpret and use drawings, process procedures and other written documentation to complete preparation and assembly of components. Fabricate simpler components using various items including hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, drills, taps, saws and other tools and tooling. Form, prepare and align copper, brass and plastic piping along with associated bracketing and hardware. Braze, solder and bond piping as may be required. Mount various assemblies and components. Follow all company policies, procedures and work instructions in compliance with SPs Quality Management System. Complies with all company policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure continued ISO certification. Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills Minimum high school graduate level required. Technical School a plus. Strong analytical skills are required. Machinist: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workplace, sequence of fabrication operations and set-up requirements. Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories/ materials and programs machines such as mills, lathes and CNC machining equipment. Sets-up, starts, and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings. Able to safely operate material handling equipment, including but not limited to: cranes, fork trucks, scissor lifts etc. where required and available. Verifies dimensions and performs incoming and work-in-process inspections of machined components, fabricated parts, and assemblies. Maintains a neat, clean and organized work area. Shipping Lead: SP Scientific, in Gardiner, NY looking for a full-time, hourly Shipping Lead, with demonstrated shipping experience in a manufacturing environment. As the Shipping Lead, you will oversee, handle and participate in all shipping, receiving, crate building and other warehouse needs. Ensuring machines are properly packed, labeled and all indicators are properly located and attached following ISO Manufacturing procedures. In this role you will be tasked with maintaining accurate and timely records of shipping activities with the overall goal of shipping all orders on their committed dates to meet customer expectations.
