GoCar Tours now hiring part-time weekend retail staff AND full-time positions for our Union Square and Fisherman’s Wharf location’s.
You have probably seen our little yellow cars scooting around San Francisco. Tourists love driving our cars and when you work at GoCar, and working on our team, you’ll get the opportunity to experience the tour and drive the cars.
We don’t require you to have any retail experience, just a great attitude and enjoy communicating and educating our customers who are seeking adventure and fun! We will teach you everything you need to know to be successful and enjoy your role.
We have full-time and part-time availability, and offer overtime during busy seasons. Our locations are easy to get to from all over the Bay Area using BART or CalTrain with Muni.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they return from the GoCar tour.
- Check for vehicle damage from rental.
- Gas and perform vehicle safety checks in preparation for rental operations.
- Clean the GoCar vehicles.
- Operate the GoCar POS system - close out rental contracts and collect payment.
- Perform customer safety briefings at the vehicle before launching on tour.
- Facilitate customer experience issues and resolutions with the Retail Lead or Corporate Office.
- Keep rental areas clean and presentable and supplied with necessary shop materials.
You must be able to physically maneuver and reposition a GoCar in the shop area, lift boxes as much as 30 pounds. You are a perfect candidate if you are reliable, confident and enthusiastic – and it’s a big plus if you know how to smile around tourists!
