Full Time Position

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Comprehensive audiometric testing as required by state law

‪- Perform speech audiometry

‪- Coordinate and interpret test results

‪- Enter outcome notes into the patient’s medical record

‪- Conduct air and bone conduction threshold measurements

‪- Counsel patients on test results including, but not limited to: actual and realistic results and capabilities of the hearing aids

‪- Recommend and dispense hearing care products/aids.

‪- Provides hearing aid dispensing to include selection and fitting (custom or universal products)

‪- Will meet continuing education requirements to keep license up-to-date

‪- Promote, demonstrate and sell hearing aid accessories, batteries and other special products

‪- Refer patient to appropriate medical professionals as needed

‪- Perform hearing aid repairs

‪- Perform hearing aid checks, cleaning and necessary adjustments

‪- Aware and supportive of marketing activities

‪- Responsible for revenue and margin outcomes

‪- Provide excellent customer service and good public relations

‪- Follow good safety and infection control protocols

‪- Exercise confidentiality relating to patient and other business information

Requirements:

- Motivated, dedicated, efficient, collaborative team player, articulate, patient-oriented

- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles

- Strong keyboard/computer/audiology diagnostic and hearing aid software and equipment experience (multi-line competence preferred)

- Must be comfortable with sales

- The more hearing aid dispensing experience, the stronger the candidate

Education:

Must hold a Hearing Aid Specialist Licensure as required by the state
