About this job

Responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of Fleet Maintenance within a designated area along with ensuring that all Fleet equipment is maintained in a safe and serviceable manner.
• Ensures that preventative maintenance programs are being followed at all locations.
• Performs quality control audits.
• Ensures accuracy of documentation generated by employees at CCE/vendor shops for all maintenance activities.
• Generates capital refurbishment schedule based on need and available capital funding.
• Provides training for subordinate personnel.
• Ensures proper disposal and documentation of waste stream items.
• Assists subordinates in making decisions concerning efficiency of shop operations.
• Ensures all maintenance and repairs are performed in a cost effective manner.
• Supervises operations so that all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations are complied with by subordinates.
• Ensures that parts inventories are maintained at correct efficiency levels.
• Coordinates members of all functional areas to ensure that equipment needs are met.
• Ensures that all vehicles are prepared for transfer or disposal as needed.

Requirements

Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 5+ years in fleet maintenance required.
* Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.
* Strong reasoning, and mathematical skills.
* Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
* Basic computer skill required.
* Requires extended periods of sitting, typing and looking at a computer screen.
* Requires frequent travel to customer sites and driving truck for periods of time.
* Use of pallet jack may be required.
* Environments may occasionally be hot or cold.
* Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling and/or lifting of 50+ pounds, and climbing are required.
