Assistant Professor, Dept of Surgery, CT Surgery (Columbus) - Full-time / Part-time

CLINICAL ROLE: * Serves as a cardiothoracic surgeon within the Department of Surgery's Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery with an active inpatient and outpatient practice. * Participates in the clinical education, training and development of Cardiothoracic Surgery residents through practice-site rotation activities and conferences. * Participates in the development of unique clinical and basic research specific to Cardiothoracic Surgery. * Participates in the Administrative operations of the Sub-Division/Division/Department/Clinic/University based upon assignments determined by the Division Chief and/or Sub-Division Chief.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: * Board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. * Must possess a valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Georgia. * Must possess a valid controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate. * Must sign the Non-Compete Agreement of The Emory Clinic, Inc. as a condition of employment.
