Our Ormond Beach shop is seeking a mechanic helper to perform a variety of tasks in the routine service and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preventative Maintenance and service repair on gas & electric powered vehicles. Install & service batteries, tire pressures checks, changes, & repairs. Replaces light bulbs and other mechanical parts; maintains records of services; may service and maintain other automotive equipment and assist other mechanics as necessary.
-Skillfully use a variety of hand and power tools in equipment maintenance and cleaning.
-Troubleshoot electrical components.
-Understand and carry out oral and written direction.
-Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
-Maintain good public relations with persons contacted during working assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Valid drivers license**
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Ability to work in outdoor environments at times.
-Knowledge of basic tools and preventative maintenance
-Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision but also work well with others in a collaborative team environment
