Office Assistant:

Position Summary: The Office Administrator responsibilities entail answering the telephones, handling the Administrative functions, customer account inquiries, and providing support for Door Center Management.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform all assigned duties safely.
  • Answer and respond to telephone calls and customers’ needs.
  • Receive and process customer orders and invoices on a daily basis.
  • Assist in inventory control (may include cycle counts).
  • Responsible for daily receipts and bank statements.
  • Courteous, customer service oriented attitude.
  • Participate in warehouse-related activities at the Door Center in order to continually develop and improve their product knowledge.
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Maintain customer pricing in Amarr’s software.
  • Provide product quotes to our customers.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Purchase order receipts and transfers for inventory.
  • Prepare end of day paperwork; includes all summary reports.
  • Adhere to end of month procedures; includes all summary reports and computer close down.
  • Assist in production, product pick-up and product delivery schedules.
  • Assist in the development of a semi-annual 2D and meet all training targets as spelled out in the 2D.
  • Other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Other Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements:
  • Extended computer use.
  • Extended telephone use.
  • Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
Qualifications of Job:
  • High School Education.
  • Strong PC skills (various software applications).
  • One year prior office administrative experience or related experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Satisfactory completion of 10-week training program after joining the company.
