Nurse Supervisor, RN

Pay Grade 6M $24.68 - $34.45* with a $4/hour position differential, $1.40 shift differential as well as $1.35 weekend differential

1 Permanent, Full Time, 11:00pm-7:00am, 40 hrs/wk

1 Permanent, Part Time, 11:00pm-7:00am, 16 hrs/wk (can be made into a FULL TIME position with additional hours being worked as a staff nurse)

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, plans, coordinates, manages, and evaluates resident care activities, nursing personnel, and unit operations on a designated shift.

Duties include setting objectives and standards for the shift, evaluating residents status and unit activities at the beginning of each shift and assuring an appropriate level of nursing staff are available to provide safe, high quality care, evaluating residents status at the beginning of each shift, participating in and assuring appropriate assessment of residents, coordinating and communicating information about care with residents and families.

Must have knowledge of administrative nursing techniques in a long-term care setting equivalent to completion of an Associate's degree plus additional professional level courses and three to five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be thoroughly oriented to all facility policies and agree to comply with all facility policies.
