About this job

Required: Analytical skills, categorization and organization skills/experience, curiosity, tenacity, excellent English skills for creating/editing definitions, policies, and other documentation. Reporting/BI tool experience and/or excellent Excel skills.
Nice to have: Taxonomy, Ontology, and standards development experience. Governance standards and policy implementation experience.

Ideally has Librarian or Library Science background.

  • Categorize and organize multiple types of data and documentation for ease of search in Sharepoint, Confluence/wiki, and ER/Studio.
  • Helps create and implement data management policies and standards.
  • Helps create repeatable processes for analyzing, categorizing, organizing, tagging, and sharing data.
  • Imports, connects, and manages metadata within the metadata repository including data dictionary terms and definitions, business rules and constraints, and technical metadata.
  • Creates training on metadata tool use and search.
