Purpose of Position:The primary role of this position is to provide high quality repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach and ELE brand equipment supported through the Service Center. This position may involve mentoring and guidance of the Service Technician I staff member(s).Essential Functions:
- Use established Standard work to provide repair, calibration, certification and preventative maintenance services for Hach and ELE brand equipment.
- Provide technical assistance as needed to customers, Field Service staff and Technical Support.
- Determine the amount to bill customer within a framework of charges using computerized service systems.
- Provide input to new product design teams as assigned.
- Training of internal staff and external customers.
- Participate in continuous improvement kaizen events
- Accurate inventory management.Other Non-Essential Functions:
