An electronics company in North Tonawanda, NY is looking to hire an avionics/bench technician for a full time opportunity.
- Contract to Direct Hire Opportunity
- Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/hr based on experience
- Medical benefits Package
- Must be open to 1st & 2nd Shift.
Our client specializes in test and repair of commercial air transport and regional aircraft instruments, avionics, autopilot, gyros, and accessories.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to repair and troubleshoot an item to the component level
- Identify electronic components (i.e. transistors, diodes, transformers, relays, IC's, etc.), know how they function & control the portion of the circuit being troubleshot
- needs to be able to understand exactly how something works, where to look when there is a failure, identify the failed component(s), disassemble the unit to the smallest level necessary to replace the defective component(s), reassemble, and test the unit in-accordance-with the current manufacturers specifications restoring normal unit operation and reliability
