Overview

Job Summary

The Purchasing Data Integrity Specialist provides multi-faceted support for the entire Purchasing department, as well as for the IS and Accounting departments at NGVC. The position is responsible for updating, maintaining and verifying master data starting in SAP flowing down to Store POS and signage.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include the following essential functions, but are not limited to:

  • Create, Load, Review, and Troubleshoot Winshuttle templates to make the following updates/changes in the system:
  • Process and validate price changes from manufacturers and distributors
  • Process all price changes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with Category Managers on retail changes.
  • New Items
  • Set up and price new items accurately and quickly
  • Hotline, Grand Opening and In-store Specials
  • Record, load and validate all promotional items for Hotlines, Grand Opening and in-store specials including cost conditions
  • Process purchase orders for:
  • Promotional product
  • One time buys
  • New items
  • Manage item data
  • Regular vendor updates
  • Source of supply updates
  • Process Store request for Replenishment changes.
  • Support and assist IS as needed with POS loads
  • Check/validate all promotional pricing loads
  • Process Daily PO and Sales reports working with stores and accounting to correct.
  • Work with purchasing to develop consistencies in descriptions and item listings
  • Work closely with the other members of the Data Integrity Group to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Any other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education, Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma/GED required College degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in SAP and NGVC store processes preferred
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines
  • Must be critical thinker with a knack for troubleshooting and analysis
  • Minimum intermediate level of Excel/Microsoft Office skills required
