Altice Media Solutions offers local and regional advertising for businesses across a wide range of platforms, including interactive channels, on-demand services and cable television networks, powered by census‐level data and cutting‐edge data analytics solutions.

We are currently looking for an Advertising Account Executive for our Long Island, NY region. The Advertising Account Executive is responsible for selling commercial time on national and regional networks, News 12 networks, News 12 Traffic and Weather, and all digital products. Must achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual budgets.

The primary responsibilities for this position are as follows: to canvas merchants/businesses on a daily basis to discover new advertisers; identify demographic needs of advertising client (match client's needs with best advertising networks/products); develop effective advertising campaigns for customers utilizing all networks, products, and cable systems available; coordinate production of commercial between client and Production Manager to ensure its completion; communicate effectively between traffic coordinators and commercial inserters to ensure proper placement of ad; ensure all sales paperwork (Salesforce, Traffic confirmations, etc.) is accurate, complete and up to date; and collect any and all outstanding balances on advertising accounts.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years selling experience or outside sales experience (particularly in Digital/Media Sales) with a proven track record in cold calling, prospecting, developing new business and closing the sale.
  • Knowledge of local Long Island community/businesses is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
